Two books to read and enjoy at your leisure.

The following books authored by Dr.Philip G Veerasingam and edited by Dr.Tissa Kappagoda are available for order by email.

1. 'Remembered Vignettes' - Stories of life at the Medical Faculty as a student, in the period 1960 to 1965. Read about the hilarious times at the Medical College of Ceylon, of the early 1960s.
Cost - US$ Ten, for packing and postage overseas. Rs750/- for p&p to addresses inside Sri Lanka.

2. 'The cry of the Devil-bird' - Experiences of a Medical officer/Surgeon, working in Ceylon/Sri Lanka, from 1965 to 2005. Read about life 'as it was' in those wonderful years.
Cost - US$ Fifteen for packing and postage overseas. Rs950/- for p&p to addresses inside Sri Lanka.

Dear Philip

Please find attached a selection of photos taken at the 10th Anniversary Celebrations of the Sri Lankan Psychiatric Assocation. As you can see there is a photograph of Murugananthan, wife and myself, one of some of our batch mates already gathered - Jayaretnam and wife, Carlisle and Megan, Murugananthan and wife, Kapugama and wife, Sidney and myself and Rasamuttiah.
We were surprised that there were 7 of us from our batch at this gathering.
The last photo is of Sidney and myself also taken at the celebration.
Please circulate to batch mates as this is another opportunity to share professional activities that some of us are undertaking in the UK.
