Hi Philip

Thanks for the glimpses. This is super fast indeed.

1. Please give my apologies to Sivarasa for omitting his name from the group.
This is purely unintentional and a serious omission.

There is a space between Palitha V.  and Lucien W. For Siva's name to be added
But had been missed out in the print. If you could kindly add Siva's name as suggested, the rest of the names in the standing row should read accurately against the correct batch mate.

Siva, my apologies once again.

2. Full of bouquets to the Organising committee.

Can we give 3 hearty cheers for the Organisers led by Sarath Kapuwatte  for the excellent organisation all round and for all the hard work put in by all of them, over many many months culminating in such a grand show to satisfy every batch mate, their spouses, families and invited guests.
A very big Bouquet to each and every one.

The venue was excellent, the hotel staff was so courteous and extremely helpful, the meals were catering to all the taste buds across the globe ( I guess), hotel facilities were of a very high standard.

The programme was so meticulously planned and executed from the registration, commemoration video to show our respect to those who passed away, the ' concert' run non stop for nearly 2 hours by The talented 'actors'- Anula,Vijitha,Lucien, Travis, Sunil, Karals and the unforgettable and amazingly talented (and one and only) Gerry.
The Sing along was so well planned and executed by Sam the Man and his Band to keep all of us fully entertained till midnight.

Thanks Buddy for your video recording and we all missed your presence as much as you may have.

The event was truly memorable and will be remembered  by most of us for many more years( if only I could remember what)

It may be too early to reflect and absorb every bit of the very special event to celebrate and rejoice the 50 golden years of being a doctor ( from 1965 to 2015) since graduation.

As suggested by Buddy, I will whole heartily endorse that we keep meeting as long as we can and let's seriously plan for the next 'Do' in 3 years ( as we do not now have to meet meaningless 5 year cycles any more.

So glad to have met all those who  attended the event and we can only share our thoughts with all those who could not attend for what ever reason.

We are still are  a very Big Family spread globally but having a common theme of Love, mutual respect and comradery.

Best wishes

Nana

Dear Phillip
You have been most kind to have posted these photos.
Yes it was as good as being there to catch up with the changes we all have undergone over the last few years except Kalu nana who looks the same.
Yes Karals was difficult at the start to be made out like my friend MBS.
Durmila is easy.Buddhe is also as evergreen
Jayalath(KEJ)was also easy.Podi Makuls I hope I identified.
Thanks for the memories and post a few more.
All the best

Milroy
