match!

Long long later 1980
Australian school boys did a tour here
scolding the shit off our own school boys- one vs Richmond College, that filth was honoured by them as ‘sledging’.

Till rotund Arjuna et al 1996, talking with no lip movementsbested them at
their own game- Sledging! And the result? Wow! World Cup! That match was sure
brains against brawn-
4. And in 1996 in Australia the same single ground had two prepared types
of pitches- the green tops- fast-
for tiny Asians to face and the very, very, barren slow ones when they faced
the fearsome West Indies pacies.

And always a grumble- Murali was branded a chucker, even though he was willing
to be tested with arm splinted! He was tested many times! He was near howled
out, if not for tough Arjuna and team.

They took 20 years- long after he retired to sanitise him and at last begin to
learn on slow pitches. And he is in the hall of fame only now 800 wickets!
7.Honourable mention to Shane Warne who stuck his neck out for Murali.
8. And Sri Lankan expat doctors!
9. And this time in Sri Lanka- squealers
commented the SSC ground would not last 3 days! Well it lasted till
the last- but they could not!
10. And today any sledging inn Sri Lanka ? What is sledging!!!
These
guys are swallowing their own Adams apples instead.

in 1996 told the Aussies to fix microphones to stop sledging and
