Buddy
You can make a mallung. Import some idiappam from Maradana Sandagiri and eat with kirihothi. Remember the 96! idiappam between you and Sarath Kapu. You will still be alive when we meet next.
Kind regards
Syed

Fathers day 19th June

'Oh my papa' by Everly brothers,
sung about 60 years ago still plucks your heartstrings.
Words included.

"O mein Papa" is a German song, as related by a young woman remembering her beloved, once-famous clown father. It was written by Swiss composer Paul Burkhard in 1939 for a musical called Der Schwarze Hecht (The Black Pike), It was adapted into English by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons under the title "Oh! My Pa-Pa".

Hi Buddy,
I have eaten beetroot leaves, cooked of course. They were cooked as a "Themparadu" preparation with maldive-fish, ground chilly powder etc. I am still alive!!!

For tea tonight I made soup from the leaves of my beetroots and it was a huge hit - even the children loved it. Has anyone tried it? if not please give it a go - it's packed with goodness:- Melt a knob butter in a saucepan, rinse and chop the leaves and stalks, put them in the pan and gently cook until soft. Add your stock (I used chicken stock) and cook until the stalks are soft, which took about 5 mins. then liquidise. A little salt and pepper 'to taste' and scrummy - how simple is that? !!!!!
