At the CoMSAA get-together

An encounter
In 1966 when I was the DMO Koslanda, I had to go to Badulla to see the Superintendent of Health Services. When I dropped in at the house officers quarters I found a doctor named Bongo  Rajendra HO Anaesthesia, a few years senior to us, preparing to leave to Colombo in his Volkswagen Beetle. He offered to drop me at Beragala Junction on his way. I got into his car. On the way we went to the Diyathalawa Army camp to see Col.Chapman one of his friends, who was Commandant of the Camp.
I met 'Bongo' at the recent get-together of the Colombo Medical Students Alumni (CoMSAA) at Benthota after all these years and recalled the old days. He was surprised to see me and that I could recall all the details. 'Bongo' did most of the singing of the old songs at the get-together. He is in General Practice in Colombo.
