Obituary - Dr. D.N.Wijayaratne

Dear Philip

It is likely that you are already aware of the sad news of the death of our batch mate- DN Wijayaratna. I am attaching the obituary notice for your perusal and to share with our batch mates.

I am aware that he had been ailing for quite some time and felt quite incapacitated to join our ReUnion on last 2 occasions.

He was rather quiet but very sincere and a very friendly person.
I had spoken to him intermittently till recently. He was aware of his final outcome but faced it with dignity and courage.

We would miss him.

May he attain the eternal bliss of nibbhana.
