The life of a youngster born in 1940 in Alupola, Rathnapura, getting his secondary school Education in at Hartley College, Point-Pedro, leading up to his Entrance to the Medical Facultty, Kynsey Road Colombo in 1960, in Ceylon. It traces a life of rapid social changes, in the first two decades after Independence from British rule in 1948. An interesting read.
