Congratulations to Karals
Hello Karals,
I am forwarding a message sent by Buddy. Even though we knew in advance that this was coming, it was still a thrill to hear the good news. My wife children and myself congratulate you on your excellent performance. It is heartening to see you bringing credit to your land of birth, your Medical Faculty, the Health Dept of SL and the University of Peradeniya, where you spent the formative years. Your collegues in the batch are indeed proud of you.
Philip.
Davidson, Toxicology and Karalliedda.
Hello Lakshman,
I was recently at the Monash University Bookshop and chanced to see the latest edition of "Davidson," still the best medical textbook around.
I was thrilled when I opened to the toxicology chapter and read that it was written by Karaliedde and Young. I looked around, hoping to find some of my pupils so that I could show them the chapter and claim relationship but alas, there was not a known person in sight.
Congratulations on your wonderful achievement. I am sure all of Sri Lanka's doctors, especially those in our batch would be proud of you.
Yours,
Buddy
