Churchill we know is dead, however there are quite a
few more 'monkeys' left !!!!
Subject: Fwd: The Bengal Famine: How the British engineered the worst
genocide in human history for profit
PS
We in British Ceylon also had a similar experience. The older generation in Jaffna used to refer to an 'erlu arisi pancham' - 'the famine of seven grains of rice', when seven grains of rice for each person was the ration, to cook a 'kanji - kandha'. In the Sinhalese vocabulary 'Kollu Kaapu kaley' is still referred to as when people consumed 'kollu' - oats meant for the horses.
