Alumni Association, Faculty of Medicine, Colombo
Dear Philip
Please share this 'exciting hot news' with our batch mates.
Some of you may remember we made a 'presentation of Essential Library Books, 9 computors,essential teaching material for use in the Physiology Department etc to the Colombo Medical Faculty to commemorate our Reunion.
At this presentation, we made proposal to the Dean ( Prof. Harsha Senevirathna) & the Senior Academic Staff for the establishment of a Colombo Medical Faculty Alumni Association and a Alumni Trust Fund.
Prof. Senevirathna responded by delegating the huge task to a sub committee. We have continued to liaise with the Dean & the subcommittee since last July. Within a year we are so delighted to note that the long overdue Alumni Association is becoming a reality.
We are very proud to share the latest exciting hot news that there is a dazzling light at the end of the tunnel and all our dreams are coming true.

My special thanks to the Dean & the Sub committee members and all those who supported us in various ways with all the useful suggestions and encouragement.
