‘I have always admired the pluck and humor of the Aussies.  There was a story about Australian troops at Gallipoli unloading supplies from boats at the beach wearing only their underwear who were seen by a British General.  Orders were promptly issued that Australian troops would be dressed appropriately when engaged in this activity.  The next day the General again observed the Australians...dressed appropriately, unloading the boats in hot sun and surf...they were naked!!!”
