1960 Entrants Batch, get together, at the Jetwing Blue, Negombo, Sri Lanka - Programme and Payments.

Dear Batch-mates ( 1960 Entrants, Medical Faculty, Colombo),

It has been a long 50 years after we passed out of the Medical Faculty in 1965. We intend doing a get together, our fourth such reunion held in Sri Lanka. The first was held in Kandy on passing the 25th Anniversary. The second and third were at Dambulla.

This may be the last batch get together as all of us have passed the 'Three score and ten years'. Please make it a point to come for this get together.

We have made it a one day programme to make it more affordable.

This time it is proposed to have it at the Jetwing Blue Hotel at Negombo on the 13th June 2015.

The agenda for the day is as follows :-

1. 10.00 am - Meet and greet.

2. 10 to 12 noon - Fellowship.

3. 11 am - Group photograph

3. 12 noon - Buffet type Lunch.

4. 12 to 4pm - Leisure.

5. 4pm - Meeting 

a. Tributes to departed  by volunteers.

b. Sing-along.

6. 4.30pm - Concert  - Items on a an impromptu voluntary basis.

It is easy to travel from Colombo for the event. You can use the Katunayake Expressway from Colombo, to come for the day event. It takes about 30 mins on the Expressway.

Come early and stay late.

If there are vacant rooms available at the Jetwing Blue due to cancellations, those who have booked at the Jetwing Beach could be transferred to Jetwing Blue.

The organising committee is not handling bookings at hotels. You have to do these yourselves.
